WHEN YOU HOLD YOUR BABY, LEIA HOLDS YOU
The journey of recovery, both physical and mental, can span up to a year or more following childbirth, particularly without adequate support. This is where LEIA Health aims to make a difference, offering comprehensive resources tailored for new mothers.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED IN ONE PLACE
During pregnancy, the focus often shifts towards preparing for the baby’s arrival; however, maternal well-being should not be overlooked. LEIA Health collaborates with experts in women's health to curate essential information for new parents. Their offerings encompass a wide range of topics including pregnancy, childbirth, feeding choices, postpartum challenges such as "baby blues" and postpartum depression, as well as practical advice for managing sleep issues.
PERSONAL RECOVERY PLAN
Understanding that recovery can be a lengthy process post-delivery, LEIA Health provides a 12-week recovery plan tailored specifically for individual needs and experiences. This customized approach seeks to facilitate a smoother transition into motherhood.
DAILY CHECK-IN
The platform allows users to monitor and enhance their physical and mental health through daily check-ins. This feature enables the creation of personalized routines and offers a space for note-taking, allowing individuals to track behaviors over time and gain insights into their overall well-being.
TEST FOR POSTPARTUM DEPRESSION
The challenges of the postpartum period can be compounded by mental health concerns. Statistically, around 1 in 10 new parents may experience depression. LEIA Health helps users evaluate their mental health with a self-assessment tool developed in collaboration with researchers from Karolinska Institutet.
TRACKER FOR BREASTFEEDING, BOTTLE FEEDING, AND PUMPING
Navigating feeding practices can be daunting for new mothers, many of whom face difficulties with breastfeeding. The feeding tracker offered by LEIA Health assists in logging breastfeeding sessions and bottle-feeding details, promoting support for all parents, regardless of their feeding methods.
STRENGTHEN YOUR PELVIC FLOOR WITH LEIA
The pelvic floor plays a crucial role in overall health. LEIA Health’s 6-week training program focuses on strengthening these important muscles to help prevent prolapse and incontinence both during and after pregnancy.
